The Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum offers a permanent site to get to know more about arts and crafts history of Hangzhou, appreciate masterworks as well as to interpret the meaning of the handicraft. WLO team was guided by Ms. Wang Ying Xiang, Director of the Museum, in a visit to more than twenty masters ranked at national, provincial and municipal levels. The area dedicated to masters’ studios built a platform to intensively demonstrate the charming of the masters, providing them public space to research, create and teach apprentices, and at the same time offering the audience a chance to have immediate communication with masters.
