Dr. Jane Zhou
Dr. Lijun Jane Zhou is a full professor and deputy dean of College of Education, Zhejiang University,China. She teaches the courses of sports management and sport sociology for undergraduates, theory and practice of leisure for master and doctoral students. Currently, Dr. Zhou’s lines of research are focused on cross-cultural analysis on leisure behavior and leisure project planning. She has published more than 50 academic articles on peer reviewed journals, 2 monographs and several chapters as well. In recent 5 years, Dr. Zhou has been the chief leader to finish the national, provincial and local governmental research projects on sports leisure programming. The total funding of the program is over 3 million RMB. Some of her research achievements were adopted by the provincial and municipal governments in China.
Dr. Zhou is very active on the world stage. She is one of the board members of World Leisure Organization(2011-2017,2019-), a visiting professor in University of Northern Iowa and University College Dublin. She was awarded as a distinguished visiting professor by University of Northern Iowa. She has presented in the international conferences for dozens of times and is the reviewers of many international academic journals.
